Yes
indeed, folks, it’s Mask Madness time here at The Acne Whisperer! The entire month of March will be devoted to the masks offered
at my main web site, what they do, how they work, how to use them and how to choose them.
With so
many choices and benefits, I thought I would start out with a simple lesson in
the best way to apply a mask.
How To
Apply A Clay, Gel or Cream Mask
For the best results from your masks, follow these simple guidelines :
Application
Smooth onto skin with fingers or fan mask brush.
- Clay : Just enough to not see your skin underneath, but not too much to waste it - if it dries in less than 10 minutes, you have used too little
- Gel or cream : Apply liberally, not thinly
- 10 minutes for clay
- 15 minutes for gel
- Cream mask is removed after it turns clear
Removal
- Clay : Rinse thoroughly with cool water using either a soft wash cloth or skin shammy
- Gel : Use a few folded tissues (like kleenex) to remove as much as possible first, then rinse thoroughly
- For extra dry skin, cream mask can be removed with tissue, with the remainder massaged into the skin
Stay tuned for some special and fun offers on this page in the coming weeks!
